Ready, Set, Dissect: Master Bedroom

Our friend Lanne from the Decorating Forum sent in this picture. She sent an email saying this was perfect for me- What???. The second email clarified it would be perfect for our game lol.

So are your Ready to Get Set and Dissect?

Pop on over and join in the chat on the Decorating Forum- be warned- we are known to have quite a giggle over there:)

I think this room has an identity crisis. Strange shiny poofy bedding which I would swap for something more simple in a heartbeat - white linen, with a French navy folded throw at the end of the bed.
I like the daffy toothed ottomen, but the mirrored headboard just feels pretentious to me. A simple panelled headboard, painted white, and let that beautiful silk and wool rug provide pattern.

Ew! I really dislike that quilt cover and pillows.

Don't mind the pale blue but, yes, it's all a bit 'ew' really. The poofs at the end are not my cup of tea either!

It's not so bad. The Pacman ottomans (loved that comment), and the headboard have to go. I'm not sure what that is on the wall???
Love the colours- very pretty and soft.
