I love the colour pallette, but you would know that..:)
The 2 foreground chairs actually I reaaly like this room except I wuld add a bit more green in little spots here and there and I would make the plant more leafy....possibly using a palm or the like.....
If that is 2007 it goes to show good style does last the test of time.
I love it, but so much white is a little blinding, I would add more pattern/texture I think. Also white on all the furniture: not a kid/pet friendly space. That being said, my living room/dining room is that palette more or less: white, Black, green accents
I love the rugs interplay, and the ceiling height, and the general feeling of simplicity, but I might remove the two foreground chairs, and swap the perspex table for something more earthy...

but I would change out the rug and bring in a touch of muted colour (probably green).
I would then find a professional steam cleaner to become my new BFF to remove the kids stains!
I liked it the first time but on the second viewing I'm less enthused because it lacks an element of warmth. More colour and pattern in the furnishings, I say.
what I DON'T like is that my children would make that room look like the inside of an 1960's oven by the time the day was out....

Yes the cover says 2007 Elements.
I loooove this room. The only things I would change is the straight striped rug. I adore the Zebra stripe rug- I really want one of those but DH thinks I am mad lol.
Plus I would have a different glass table and more greenery.
I love the little chairs at the front and had some made up similar for a client. We were all thrilled with how they turned out.
I love black and white rooms and white furniture. Our couches are white but the dog and the child know if they make a mess their lives are over lol. Actually with the easy to clean fabrics around now I don't have a problem using white fabric.
Love the little armchairs. Love the stripes. Not too fussed on indoor plants but that's just me. Has a serene feel about it which draws me to it. A-M xx
I actually (don't all die of shock!) don't mind it...it feels light/open but I would have to get rid of the zebra rug, the stripey mat, and the striped and patterned cushions.
Oooh so glam. Love it! I love those creamy colours and especially those 2 chairs!
